Blankety blank

I seem to have writers block or maybe it's just a really really boring life... I've been wanting to post, but, without a prompt, I just haven't known what to say.

Last night I worked at a fundraiser for our church. I attend a Nazarene church at the moment and this June is their General Conference that is held every 4 years. This year it will be held in Orlando Florida. The week before, the church runs a mission type trip in the town of the conference to help the community. Kind of like a Habitat for Humanity type thing, without actually building homes. They will repair buildings, provide food etc... Also during that time our church's childrens quizzing team will be there competing. So we've been raising money for all of this. Last night was a turkey dinner for the community. I helped to serve the meal. It was really yummy. :-) We are also partnering with a local department store with coupons, so if anyone is in or near the area and wants info, let me know. I won't bore everyone with those details.

Not a whole lot of exciting stuff, other than that, is going on. The kids are doing well, in school and work, and I just am here. I have found long lost relatives on Facebook, that makes me happy. I do find it interesting that I have more contact with my ex's family than he does, but hey...most people aren't stupid. ;-)
