When I first got onto the Internet, way back in 1997, I had no clue what I was going to do on there. I knew you could play games and even chat (though God knows you can get into trouble in chat rooms...lol). At the time my kids were 7, 5 and3 (now 18, 15 and 14, but I digress...) and I didn't have a whole lot of people to talk to IRL. So, I came across this web site named Moms Online, or MOL as it was known to the posters. There I met tons of women who had kids and we could talk about kids, spouses, etc... and we had a hell of a time doing it. I am still in contact with many of the women I met back then.
There were periods of time when I didn't have internet access and I did lose touch with some posters. MOL changed format years ago and we moved to another posting site PS (Parent Station).
In the past year or so I have seen some of the ladies I have missed on places like Facebook and MySpace and also I have found blogs. So, I'm getting to know these ladies again after an absence and have found new hilarious blogs to read also.
Come on by and say hi. I think we'll get along just fine. ;-)
