Friday night was the National Championships for band. 3rd place out of 19 bands.....not bad at all. :-) Saturday they placed 3rd in Cavalcade. Not bad either, but I think they were a bit disappointed in 3rd, but I am proud either way.
While B was at the comp on Saturday, J and I had a "date night". We drove down to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore and hung out. Walked around, took pics, people watched and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. We looked around Barnes and Noble (found some things I may get as gifts) and then he played a couple games at the ESPN Zone. On the way home we stopped at Starbuck's and looked in Game Stop. All in all, a good day. :-)
Yesterday the kids and I (Bill worked both days at home), spent the morning and part of the afternoon at church. B decided to join the worship team with M, so that was cool. They got many compliments from the congregation. I was told that I was beaming....well, of course. :-D Afterwards, we had a dinner for the pastor and his family. Had a great time eating and joking around with everyone.
I do have pics, but need to get them on the computer...more to come.
