A Jay and Deb Production.
Today, I pay tribute to the Sun. That bright orb in the sky. Ok, odd it may be, but hey...anything that doesn't cause me to run up the electric bill and threaten to burn down my house with all the candles I burn is good in my book. I think that I suffer from some sort of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) but have not actually been diagnosed. Just a guess on my part, really. I came to this conclusion while living in Oregon for 15 or so years. The gloom that settles there at times really bothered me. Today it is around 10 degrees out but it is SUNNY! I am not feeling particularly depressed or down and that is a good thing.
So, smile and take a (careful) look up in the sky...it's there. ;-)
Oh I totally have SAD, know the trick? MOVE to South Central Oregon, like the sunniest place on EARTH. I am loving even a cold day in winter when the sun is out! Was awful in winter in SLC, Utah, with all the inversion!!

I am thankful for the sun too! We had the joy in sharing it today too! Still cold, but atleast it was bright out instead dreary.
ReplyDeletethe sun is finally shining here too...but it's still 20 degrees. i guess if it weren't shining it would be much worse though.
ReplyDeleteok, you are right...i need the sun! i prefer it with the beach though!
i am with you, girl! i definitely do better if the sun is shining... doesn't matter what the temp is, as long as the sky is blue!
ReplyDeleteI have to be in the sun...or I am way grumpy.
ReplyDeleteHey thanks for the advice on the clogged garbage disposal. 10 minutes and a whole lotta mess I got it unplugged. Thank god it was startin to stink!
