I want candy....

Ok, so I was lost as to what to name this post. ;-) I am sitting here eating some JuJuBes, hence the title.





It's been a long weekend. Had the boys for one extra day because of the holiday. No complaints here. :-)





Saturday: J spent most of the day with one of his friends. B, Bill and I braved the crowds at IKEA and Old Navy. My absolutely favorite chair was on sale at IKEA for $39 instead of the usual $89. So I made Bill take me. This one has a leather cushion that I didn't buy, but the colors are the same.

By the time we got to where these were, they were almost out.

Old Navy was running a one day sale on flip flops for $1. I barely got some for the boys. Just the old rubber type, but hey....$1. Bill always says I'll make us go broke saving money...lol.

When we got home, B spent the night at a friends. J came home and then Bill and I helped to get our church back to normal after a scrap booking event. During the time that B was at his friends, he injured himself. Tonight we'll find out if his wrist is broken or not. I have already taken him to the ER and they couldn't tell. Tonight we'll go to the ortho to decide.

Yesterday was the local Memorial Day parade. I walked along side the band giving them water. B just marched. Couldn't do much with his arm in a splint and sling. (Yeah, the irony of him getting drum major and breaking a bone isn't lost on either of us...)
