M, J and I had a full day yesterday. M finally got her learner's permit for driving. Then it was off to Penn State so she could get her photo ID. She and I will be going to orientation on Tuesday. She'll talk to an advisor and get her classes squared away. It's going on from 8:45 am til 3 pm.
We then looked at skateboards for J. He wants to get one again. I'd like to get him one that is not a Wal Mart special, but they can be a bit pricey. When he talked to his dad he was asked who was paying for one. Not sure what J said ...
Tomorrow is M's grad/birthday party. The funny thing is that I don't think any of her friends are able to come. So, it'll be just the fam (which includes my 2 best friends and their families). All it is is a hanging out type party. Food, cake and maybe volleyball. M hasn't invited her dad. I'm torn on that one. I know that none of my friends think he should attend, but he is her dad. I think she is just uncomfortable about him being there, afraid of what he may do or say. That just really sucks.
